- P0301 misfire detected #1 cylinder P0017 cam/crank correlation P0455 EVAP large leak detected The alternator got hot shortly after starting the engine. Previous shop has inspected the timing components and found broken cam timing components. The oil level was not touching the dipstick and is now low. The engine has blow by and now also has a cylinder misfire code. Due to the oil consumption and damage to the timing components I recommend replacing the engine assembly.
